Set 3
Solve problems step by step
Group and pack quantities, calculate travel distances and wheel turns, explore nets and symmetry, and solve multistep equations and patterns.
Set 4
Compare clues and find missing values
Work with remainders and events happening together. Calculate prices, interest and ratios, then explore ring areas, prism surfaces and averages across groups.
Set 5
Choose a method and read diagrams
Compare fractions, decimals and percentages. Match equations to stories, interpret coordinates, maps, nets and graphs, and discover number relationships.
Set 6
Solve equations and find angles
Explore calculation rules and equations with symbols. Find angles in kites, isosceles triangles and parallel lines, compare symmetry, and use spinners to think about chance.
Set 7
Solve time, area and graph problems
Find when events happen together across midnight, calculate purchases using different units, and work out profit after a discount. Find areas of divided shapes, read two-line graphs and find the next number.
